6 speed is just a preference as long as the car is geared well. A miata would be fun, which generation are you recommending. I suppose the na cars are probably a bit old for daily.
Prob not getting a focus. Ill look into the honda si.
Ill have to check my credit score still.
People on the subaru forums don't seem to like vw gtis. Subarus seem to start at 20k for the new impreza and used wrx. Maybe I could lose my debt, the beater, and get a used impreza? Part of the feedback is about car payments. I think maybe a large car...
So I graduated from college and got myself a new car. I love it, but it is my only current debt. It'll take about 3 years to pay off if I pay extra on it.
I've got a 2nd beater car for bad days.
I'm looking for advice. I'm considering wiping out my debt and going with one <20k decent car...
Here are some pictures of the corvette sitting in the garage. Pretty dusty but I was expecting worse overall as far as interior condition and such.

I have plenty of time to work on things, but not a vast amount of knowledge. I am hoping to fill in the gaps with the aid of the internet/friends/family. How reasonable this is I suppose is dependent on what I see when I go check out the vehicle and the work required.
@skoorb...
Performance isn't a huge issue as long as it has noticeably more get up and go than my Corolla, which shouldn't be an issue. The car has been stored in a garage so it should be safe from water damage to the frame. I'll check it out and take some pictures of it this weekend when I go to visit the...
I drive a Toyota Corolla daily and I was hoping to find myself something a little more sporty as a weekend driver of sorts. I have a relative with a 1977 corvette t-top 4 speed that has been sitting in their possession for years unused and no longer runs. Would it be worth the effort to resort...
I plan to overclock if possible, and it sure sounds like the X2 I mentioned can be overclocked quite a bit.
What brand of Hard Drive is better? I haven't built a computer in 3 years so I really don't know that much anymore stuff changes so fast.
The refurbished card is just an idea. I'm looking at something of that power although I haven't quite settled on a 7800GTX or X1800XT or similar products.
I could get a new hard drive, but I'm mainly concerned with how the game runs once it loads and that part is easy to upgrade later. It's...
I'm curious what it would cost to build a new computer.
For the main components I was considering:
Radeon X1800XT EAX1800XT/2DHTV/512M Video Card
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+...
