I was wondering if there is any software out there that adds checksum functionality to windows so that when you move large files or a large number of files it will automatically check the contents to verify before and after to make sure no corruption occurs as a result of the file move.
Thanks!
This is actually something I'm interested in - securing data. I read here:
http://www.macworld.com/articl...8/08/ssd_security.html
that encryption on SSD's is actually easy to crack. I was wondering how you enable hardware-level encryption? Is that one of the windows options or do you need...
Why do all the spammers use the black-male with glasses logo? Is that the default or something?
It's bordering on reverse racism or something. They figure if they use a black figure as their avatar people will somehow assume their stuff isn't spam.
Ok so I now have used it for a bit and I do notice lag on small writes at times, but it's nowhere near as bad as reviews of MLC drives imply. I would say the majority of the time small writes, single or multiple, work fine. Occasionally you get the slowdown, but your machine doesn't go...
You're wrong. The HP mini-note offers 1280 res and people like it a lot, but it's more expensive. The reason the screen size is so low is because Intel imposed a max res limit of 1024x600 on Intel-based netbooks to prevent competition with full-fledged laptops. If you don't have a problem with...
If higher resolution is too small for you, you aren't going to notice the stretch if you turn down the resolution to whatever low res you like. I agree that they should offer higher res netbooks.
This is def. v2. I just received mine from newegg during lunchtime (1 day shipping wow). Now I just need to test it when I've got the time. Buy from zzf or newegg and you should be good to go. mwave people probably got old ones because they don't move stock as quick as the other two (could be...
This isn't really worth it since it's not a mva panel. That was the only real reason to buy these Soyo's before. Their quality control is really terrible. If you keep an eye out there's plenty similar priced panels from more reliable manufacturers
Image shows v2 on the website (although it also shows v2 on mwave). If newegg ships me a different version, I'll make them take it back at their cost since the website shows it as v2 (if you click on the image). I ordered mine this morning and it already shipped. Can't attest to what date your...
