Looks like 1) it's a recently discontinued model & 2) no firewire - in fact, no real digital out at all - $300 still seems like a great deal though.

Actually, if you read the title of the message, the book is for people who already have a patent (or are getting one) & want to find manufacturers to license the product/idea - which is a much more difficult task than simply filing for a patent.
