I've had a similar issue with a Stihl ms661. I'd been using it for slabbing during covid and the clutch drum literally imploded.
Found out the bearing has a plastic housing which was molten which caused all the damage. It only had about 15 hours of use.
Stihl refused to warranty it saying it...
So the op does survive without listening to music, watching a film or any other entertainment at all. Good for you.

Actually they do change in sound. Every U47 sounds slightly different.
It's not just the capsule though, it's the other components too, whose values drift over time.
