is a pcie bluetooth adapter any better than usb adapters? I have a usb one and there's always a slight lag for it to start up the bluetooth devices (mouse/keyboard) but I noticed on some laptops with internal bluetooth adapters that there's little to no lag. wonder if its just the type of usb...
thx for the link dave. I think I'm going to lean towards a shuttle or cube case only because I'd like to be able to have the option of upgrading later on.
was looking to build a small compact pc like a shuttle or those little mini pc's. Wanted to spend around 3-400 or so and I havent' been keeping up with the up and up these days. Built pc's before so I was wondering if anyone knew of some others places besides newegg or tigerdirect to get all...
well I've got this laptop with the regular hd and an 24GB SSD Cache. I upgraded to an SSD on the regular hd and after cloning it, it does not recognize the 24gb anymore. Only files I see are what looks like drivers on the 24gb. Is there a way to get this 24gb cache recognized in windows 8 so...
thanks for the info. unfortunately i couldn't use acronis because my ultrabook didn't have a disc drive so kingston recommended macrium reflect which works with windows open and worked like a charm.
thanks. i seem to run into this acronis software alot on cloning so I decided to just go to staples and get this ssd instead:

I think acer has a recovery software to create an image and save...
ok so I just got this laptop with a 500gb hd and I want to transfer the OS to a smaller 120gb ssd. what is the best/easiest way to do this? I dont have any discs so I assume cloning it is my only option. (unless there's a way to create one on an acer v5 with installed software) I don't mind...
much thanks. appreciate all the info. decided to stick with the a6 only because of battery life, price and portability. although its a step down on performance it still suits my needs. i dont do any high cpu/graphics work on adobe. just editing on photoshop/illustrator mostly. plus the 2lb...
thanks gents. i dont think the a6 has the turbo. I'm currently on a 2 core 2.5ghz i5 and it handles all my needs but I wanted something lighter and more portable with touchscreen. the a6 is 3lbs and the intel is close to 5 so I'll have to weight my options now.
a6= 400
intel=530
worth the...
which is a better cpu for a little more than everyday use such as running adobe and doing photo and minor video editing?
up to 1.9 Intel Pentium 2127U (duo core) with Intel HD Graphics
or
AMD A6-Series Quad-Core A6-1450 processor (1ghz) with AMD Radeon HD 8250 graphics 512mb
both have 4gb ram.
I'm in search of a small bedroom tv where I can connect a usb drive and play divx,avi and possibly mkv-(but not necessary on the mkv). Internet (wifi or cable) is a plus, and 3 hdmi is a must. Apps are good as well but not needed.
I ran into http://skinflint.co.uk/?cat=tvlcd and love its...
