Well - I got this LCD and it is flippin' awesome. Looks sharp on the desktop and playing movies.
The only thing is I wish the desktop resolution could go over 1024X768 somehow... just to maximize all the new 26" real estate...
I am really close to buying this LCD/TV for my workstation/DVD/TV computer. It will be used for photo, illustrations, video, playing DVD movies and games as well basic desktop stuff like the Internet.
I am working overseas and finally found a decent price on this one out in the economy...
I already have one Asus 6800GT... I just bought it retail in July for at least $400 from NewEgg (now retailing at $369 thanks to that 7800 release)... I'm not going to toss it into the spare parts drawer quite yet...
If refurbished parts are worth their price tag - then I would have an Asus...
Anyone pair up their video cards with a refurbished model?
NewEgg had my Asus 6800GT available yesterday refurb OEM for only $265... the retail one is $369. I didn't grab one 'cause I was unsure about the quality - should be a nice way to get a good deal to jump into SLI, right? Or stay...
But wouldn't the FX-55 (or 57) be an even better overclockers because of the unlocked multipliers??? This is comparing an overclocked - aka, pushed to its limits, to a stock cpu - aka, room for growth.
