Yup, the Taiwan link was wrong. *shrug* Went back and looked for specs on the 1731D models and couldn't find one :- I wish there were some way to determine the color depth of this thing.

US Spec Link Taiwan Spec Link So, is this a 6 bit or 8 bit panel? Newegg's specs say that its displays " 16.7 Milllion colors, the Taiwanese specs list 16.2 Million colors, and the US page doesn't provide any info. None of the pages specify if the panel uses dithering. Anyone know...
