OK after a bleeding thumb and many cuss words I'm turning to you guys. I'm installing a new board and I have to put in a new i/o cover for add. ports. On the cover it has small metal taps that stick out. Do you guys leave the taps or try and snap them off? :disgust:
As long as it is 100mbs you should be fine. I have moved large files (gig +) on a LAN before and It only takes a few minutes. If that doesn't work try a crossover cable going from ethernet card to ethernet card. Good Luck!
After looking around alittle more I noticed the Asus P4P800-MX. It looks to be a pretty good mobo. How well does the onboard video work on these (no 3D)? If I do this i can jump up to a P4 3.0 FSB 800
