I turned off the nvidia firewall and used the basic Windows XP firewall and everything works now. That seems to indicate that there is a problem with the nvidia firewall. Rather disappointing as the hardware accelerated firewall was one of the features that led me to the nForce4 architecture...
I have the A8N-SLI Deluxe nForce4 with my internet modem connected to the nvidia ethernet (vs the marvel) I opened the ports that bittornado is set to use in the nvidia firewall. The torrents now goes green but my download speeds never go over 10k and after a minute or so my entire internet...
I just got my new system setup with a A8N-SLI MB. Everything is running smoothly so far.
When booting the A8N-SLI goes through the standard bios hardware detection with the press <Del> to enter bios setup. Then it goes to a press <some key> to enter Raid setup and pauses for a few seconds...
The answer seems to be not really. Options:
1. 6600GT with a lower resolution or
2. 6800GT
If only 6800GT PCI-Express cards were readily available at or below MSRP...

Reviews seem to indicate that the 6600GT can handle 1600x1200 with high quality graphics but no AA or AF in most games.
If you are running with this setup, I would like to hear your thoughts on it.
