Would this work for a 42" LCD projection TV? just TV, no other devices. My understanding is that 500VA should be more than enough but thought I would check. The objective would not be to watch TV during power outages, but be able to turn it off gracefully. Thanks.
The one I am referring to is NOT the USDTV ones (they were stacked separately). I am positive Walmart has HDTV receivers with HDMI (cable included) for under 90$. I saw this last night.
Generally most posters don't think much of LCD PQ. "Wall hangability" and resistance to burn-in are apparently the only advantages. But IMHO LCD-projection TVs (at least the Sonys) are easily comparable to, and to my eyes even better than, the best Plasmas and DLPs in PQ. The A10 Sonys are...

Any trick to getting the discount? I ordered the same machine knowing what price they were asking. So surely just asking for a discount or processor ungrade will be met with derisive laughter. Tips please.
