    thanx for the info and suggestions. if I decide to keep the nVidia SW IDE drivers should I encounter any problems with my ide drives due to the controller showing scsi? or not or does it all depend? thanx

    could you correct me if I am wrong but would the only aspect for the aforementioned mobo that would be scsi be the sata while the ide are the regular and not sata?
