i have been runing it for a year now..and sp1 finally solves the last few issues i had with it.

i am running 64 bit vista business (RC1) with a nvidia 8800 gts 320 mb playing at 1680 *1050 res ..
2 gig of 6400 OCZ ram
lately, the system has been very stable ..the latests nvidia driver update reduced framerates again but increased stability.

i'm playing at 1680*1050 ...i play as uef and i think i have reached the final battle..with a zillion units running around...5 hours into the game.
It plays effortlessly. Given that, i was suprised it crashed to the deskdop 1 x previously.
The game is fun..but once again (as in all RTS...
It (easy windows bios updater) says vista 64 compatible ...but it is not.
I had professionals try and update bios. The windows installer would not work and it tries to reformat the usb device if used.
This leaves the floppy option. But i do not have a floppy drive..nor do i want to...
well i just read up on this over at |H| --seems my sata was put in IDE mode even though i had vista and the ACHI driver built in.
So i made the registry change (turning on the ACHI vista driver) and then changed bios to ACHI mode.
According to a review NCQ should have made my windows load...
ya i have been monitoring the reaction ...it is mixed.
But everyone is excited by someone who has made all the software compatible.

i have downloaded the 600 meg..but i am...
i use vista 64 bit ...i'm up to 34 games that run flawlessly vs 2 that do not (gta san andreas version 2.0 and moh:-PA)
i am using onboard sound while i wait for the whole creative debacle to stabilize :)
