It will only boot with autodetect settings that clock the chip at ~1 GHz. If I try to get it to run at the 2600 settings, it just doesn't boot.

The computer won't boot at the correct settings any more. It just hangs until the mobo finds a setting that will work.

All of them. I also updated all the nvidia drivers (as per the ATI installation directions). Could the mobo bios need updating? I'm using version 1006 and Asus gives a version 1009 (but the notes don't seem to be anything substantial)...
