The computer won't boot at the correct settings any more. It just hangs until the mobo finds a setting that will work. Could this possibly be a power problem?

All of them. I also updated all the nvidia drivers (as per the ATI installation directions). Could the mobo bios need updating? I'm using version 1006 and Asus gives a version 1009 (but the notes don't seem to be anything substantial)... Perhaps my nvidia update didn't work correctly...
