Well, we went 170 and it seemed to run well at 3.4, then we ran OCCT. 15 minutes in temps were 49C which seemed fine, then at about 45 Minutes, error CPU Core 1. hmm.. Sort of locked up on us too. Rebooted, works fine. Maybe raise CPU voltage slightly? No voltage changes were made.

Wow, more than basic, thanks much. So basically the clock changes and the multiplier stays the same? Will most likely make more sense once i get in there. thanks again, will post back with results.

How can I see the firmware on the Dell WFP2407-HC?

Is the Dell 2407-HC an upgrade from the old 2407? I'm torn between the Dell and BenQ 24" monitors also.

So what is the 24" LCD of choice now? in the $600usd range. mostly photography, internet etc. Is the new Dell HC not quite the older model?

Yes the 4600 uses a regular PSU. I put in an Antec and works fine. bought a new case, but the CPU fan and front I/O connectors all all weird of course. Anyone know how to hook these up or have a pinout? the Dell manual does not. http://support.dell.com/suppor...0/en/4600/sm/index.htm

The Sceptre x22wg-Gamer 22" might be interesting. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=11178163 Says on sceptre.com that it's 16.7 million colors, and 1200:1. I guess that doesn't mean much - worth looking at tho.

I'm reading that the Dell 2007wfp's are shipping with an S-PVA and assembled in China now. I think it's crap shoot on the 2007wfp. Dell will use whatever they get a deal on that month.

Those new Samsungs are 4:3 monitors tho correct? The Dell 2007wfp is about $100 more each (i'm buying 2). Everyone so far seems to like the LG more. No height is a drag, can deal with that.
