4850 is like $80 more than 8800gt and only 15% performance increase. not worth it imo (if you already have 8800gt)
im just waiting till 4870s are around 200ish

the only reason i have 2gb and 420watt psu was because it was from my previous build (figured i dont really NEED more than 420 because im only running 1 8800gt)
and the 8800gt i got for a good deal @ 99. i can still return it tho.

So i basically built a new system a week ago, and the first game i tested on it was crysis.

E8400 + ocz vendetta 2 cooling
P5q Pro Asus mobo
2gb Ddr2-800 ocz gold
bfg 8800gt oc
vista 64bit
wd 640gb caviar
enermax 420watt psu (29A on 12V)
I ran crysis...
So i have 2 lcds. 19inch wide and 17 inch. Whenever i plug both of them in, 1 monitor or the another (or both sometimes) start flickering. and flickery lines going up to down are visible.
changing refresh rate also doesnt help.
but when i unplug 1 monitor from the gfx card, it becomes...
the only reason i was asking is that im going to be installing vista 64 bit on my system. would i see a huge boost ?
i havnt started gaming on the new build yet so i dont know how it is performance wise.
wat resolution u play at? wat cpu?

looking to play games like hl2 ep3, fear 2 etc..
i got bfg 8800gt oc for $99, but can still return it in 30 days
should i keep it or buy 4850? or possible 4870?
im in canada so cheapest 4850 with dual slot cooling is costing me 180
and 4870 is 280...
