I kind of got sidetracked on this but now I'm probably going to buy this weekend. Bumping just to get a little more input. One thing I've already decided I'm going to up the CPU to the 3 Ghz version because its only $5 more.

I already decided and bought the RAM from newegg, 10 dollars more oh well. But yeah I guess I just decided it wasn't a good time to upgrade everything yet, and I'll see what kind of performance increase I get from this. I have been thinking about an SSD for awhile so thanks for the tip.

I didn't even know about that price at Micro Center. This is hard to decide. My main question is, how much more performance would I see with the Core i5 and DDR3? If I don't end up doing that I may just get the RAM. I guess I'm just worried that if I get the i5 now it wouldn't be very future...

Well I did think about that stuff, but it just seemed to me that the i5 was so cheap, I mean the C2D 8xxx chips are in the upper $100s anyway, and DDR2 doesn't seem THAT much cheaper. I guess I just figured it would be more effective to just jump ahead, but if you guys think its unnecessary you...

I'm running on Vista and I feel like I have way to many processes running. When I open up task manager, it says around 65-70, and that's when I'm just listening to music, chatting, browsing the web. I'm not sure what the normal amount of processes is for Vista, but I remember it being a lot...
