I made two more cd's since writting this message and one skips and the other is perfectly fine. I have not tried downloading the data back to the PC from a skipping disk. I may try another brand when I get my next batch of blank cd's. The one cd I made recently that didn't skip in my truck...

I'm trying to figure out who made my motherboard (someone else built my comp.). The tower has a clear panel so I can see the MB but I can't find any ID marks. Is there anyway to find the info. on the MB itself or is there somewhere on the comp. I can bring up the info. I have windows xp. TIA.
