would someone tell me the correct way to format my hardrive, i have windows xp and can not find the a drive ( floppy) to show up anywhere in the computer. i just want complete format so i can reinstall everything, thanks

was trying to get grandaughter's screen to show up better and changed the resolution too much now can"t see anything and don"t have disk to recovery, running windows xp. I can hit delete while starting but don"t know what to change to get it back to where it was any help before I take it to shop...
