Can I just delete the 2 WinRAR files on my GPS when I connect it to my PC since I already have the 193kb there?

when i plug my gps into my pc then click MAP, it lists the files from my previous post in that order. SHould it list both us48.part1 and 2 along with the us48poi.poi? I hope that is clear, HP

still nothing. I guess you have to no more about pc's . The only way I will be able to pull this is if someone go's through it with me step by step. Do you take phone calls?

I have both files in new folder-WinRAR(evaluation copy) I double click on the us1 and the type in password and still nothing.

how do you .......get part 1 and part 2 in the same directory make a backup copy of theUS48 _POI.POI and where is the map directory? Yes, I don't know much at all about my pc but I sure want to get the 6mill update going. Thanks for your time!
