I have the same board but have a asus 9800 256 ddr. chances are that it my need to be clocked down. I know you may not want to hear that but trust me. you wont know the diffrance. I mean more than likely your playing a game like halo that only requires a p3 or the eq, and a 32 meg graphics...

Not to totally butt in. But I'd like to say that i almost got that nforce 3 since i have the 2 and its 3d marks are high. But i went with the msi master2 and the fx 53. this combined with the asus a9800 256ddr and a couple of aquired fire gl drivers ensured that i wouldn't have to worry about...

I can tell you this. If your looking to buy one dont. I have two rigs, Nforce 2 the asus make. with every thing packed it. if you want games , though its the second and not the third it is flawless in games like halo, far cry, uru and max pain. My second is the msi master2 dual. I have the fX...
