    Raid? and what size HD's to get

    Is Raid a must for on-line gaming and if so what size Harddrives should be used? Do they have to be the same size and make? Right now I have an 8 and a 14 and I have not come close to filling them up. They are both old and slow so I would like to replace them. I am thinking 2 40's would work...

    How to clean and test a CD drive?

    I have a Hitachi GD-2000 and it is acting up on me. It is taking forever to find and read anything. I figure it is dirty, so first question is how to clean it? Compressed air and a CD cleaning disk? Have not tried either yet. Then once I get it clean is there a way to test how fast it is...
