the example was taken from the AP. The UI has an option to measure the sent & receive packets via LAN, WAN, and Wireless. The example i provided was the wireless data
you can only achieve N speeds if you use the AES cipher. It you use TKIP then you are stuck at G speeds.
So basically, i have the opposite situation as you. I get more drops in AES
i'm also using 1.34NA
I'm using channel 7 actually. I did use a sniffer program to check the best channel. I just find it annoying since overall performance is up, but there is a lot more errors and packets being dropped while using N. Where as in G the performance is much lower but practically...
so if that's the case. Getting a dual band router will help the packet dropping issue?
If I get a router that is dual band, does the adapter also need to be dual band capable? or will i be fine with my current wireless adapters
So basically, I've had this router for about 6 months. And I've been connected to it wireless via G speeds because (up until now) I didn't really bother changing it. (Since N speeds could only be achieved via AES encryption)
So when I'm connected via Wireless G speeds (54 and down), I have...
people who compare conventional drives with solid state drives are seriously clueless in what they are comparing. Unless you have actually used a quality SSD, you are in no way a credible source for comments regarding the two.
I was no different when it comes to many of you regarding my way...
yeah tigerdirect's CS is lacking. I don't worry if an item will arrive in good condition though. As they ship just as well as newegg does. Truthfully I only buy from them because the tax in california is getting so high that deals are really no longer deals. If you buy that monitor at the same...
I hear ya dawza, I basically am just going to be using it for some light office work. And burning some dvds and what not. I bought my girlfriend a MSI Wind and I basically accomplish
the same thing with her laptop as I did with my m1330. My only concern really is loading speed because i...
yeah i figured as much, I'm thinking of upgrading the SSD but they are limited to the ZIF 1.8" SSD so i have very little options. The whole point going with the netbook was so it would be cheap but I am finding the cost to add up quickly hehe
well the MI is the cheapest at the moment at 329.99 i figure I would just install windows XP when I get it
At first glance the Mi and XP are pretty much the same
I've pretty much made up my mind in getting the HP Mini 1000 due to the keyboard and aesthetics, but I'm unsure how good netbook SSD's are. I found out that the SSDs used on the mini 1000 are SanDisk pSSD 16GB (unsure what the p infront of the SSD stands for).
How much difference in...
wait....
i thought that was what you normally would do to revert things back to factory state. I do that with my tv all the time!
All joking aside, the usual recipient of damage during falls is the hard drive. best way to check it would be to
find out what brand the hard drive is and then...
