ha, that was it. It was sharing the memory with the onboard video thats not being used. Some how sharing it limits it to 1gb. i turned it off and it told me i had 1gb then found a pci memory controler. Rebooted and now i have 2gb. your a genius sir ! :)

Its wierd, ihave 2gb install, it shows in the bios, i shows in the system summery, but when i look in the task manager it seems to be paging hard after the limit, which in the general system tab is listing it as like 960mb. A little info about my PC. Thnx for any input. CPU-Z version...
