Thanks for those pics, housecat. I've been trying to figure out, without success after a couple of tries, how to use those wee hanging-off-the-main-plug miniplugs to wire up the front of my case, 'cause the wire is just a little bit too short. I'll be trying it again tonight, with your pic in hand.

I disabled Cool and Quiet on my 2-week old DFI Ultra-D setup last night (which has been running flawlessly), just for s**ts and giggles, and it's now running both cooler and quieter. Your mileage might vary, but I'm leaving it off, I think.

Built my new DFI nF4 Ultra-D system last week. Been running flawlessly (other than a little temporary weirdness with Realtek audio drivers and the headphone jack) after a totally trouble-free build (my first ever). I couldn't be more pleased with it. (and thanks to these forums and Anandtech...
