(Solved)Kingston V+200 SSD slowed down after new Firmware

I guess the problem was updating new firmware while ssd as a primary drive and windows loaded on it.New firmware dynamics and enhance trim support might have caused this issue.I think it's just like updating new driver and restarting system. Our restart was secure erase with a fresh copy W7.Well...

Wow.I fixed the problem guys :sneaky: I did the secure erase method again and installed a fresh copy of windows not a clone and now everything is ok :awe: My write speeds turned back to normal :) Here it is guys. Thank you Coup27 for helping me to fix this problem.I owe you one big...

Yeah AS SSD use incompressible too and here's my answer to them as much as possible with English :) Screenshot is attached(first screenshot, my values).Thank you for your reply but i already told you i dont have any problem with compressible data speeds. What i'm saying is very...

Reply from Kingston; "The reason why we want you to run ATTO is because some bench marking software i.e., CrystalDiskMark, AS SSD will not provide accurate information for Sanforce based drives due to the drive's getting a lot of it's speed from compressing data. Crystal Disk and AS SSD uses...

(Solved)Kingston V+200 SSD slowed down after new Firmware

Of course I will.I' ve paid that money to see how fast it is.Of course I'll do some benchmarks.I don't care about it's lifetime now.My thoughts changed now and i don't care about the longevity anymore.Sooner or later it's gonna die because of sandforce controller. If i dont like it's performance...

(Solved)Kingston V+200 SSD slowed down after new Firmware

Update! I've disabled c3/c6 state from cpu settings and now 4k random and sustained read, write speed increased :) This was an issue with most of the gigabyte motherboards. There are so many threads about this and hopefully my disk is faster but i'm sure if i didn't update firmware and disable...

(Solved)Kingston V+200 SSD slowed down after new Firmware

Well if secure erase do any good i'll try it.But i still can't understand how this firmware affected writing speeds ?Writing speed is still good at compressible data. Total read and write was 300 gb when i updated it.

I've heard that secure erase kills lifetime of SSDs.My disk is 5 days old :)
