hmm... this is for my friend who will only use it for general office apps, surfing, and maybe some photo editing in the future. 1 and 2 could be a problem. Just slightly worried that having integrated graphics would be too much of a hinderance for her. Thanks for all the info. ShawnD1

Besides gaming, does using a dedicated graphics card provide any advantages over using integrated graphics? I know if the dedicated graphics has video acceleration, it might lower cpu usage but will dedicated graphics provide any other advantages in any applications beside this and gaming?

How good the Kingston Ram is depends on what chips that use. In the past, Kingston has used Infineon = As good if not better than Crucial. Samsung & Hitachi = Maybe a little worse than crucial but still good. Nanya and IBM = Might as well return it unless you don't plan on overclocking...

Thanks for the informative post. I wonder who handles Microsoft's rebates, they seem to go out really fast. The 2 times I've gotten MS rebates, the check came back in 3 weeks. Recently, Iomega also seems to be pretty fast, that one was a surprise.
