The antec is a pretty good choice and you will have a surplus of power and therefore room to upgrade or oc. Enermax and pc power and cooling are usually better for the PSU but antecs are still decent so that seems like a good choice
The 680 watt aspire and thermaltake are extreme overkill for that system. Also I don't know from personal experience, but have heard that aspire PSU's aren't too reliable. Look for a quality PSU with lower wattage.
That would definately appear to be a problem with the PSU, and 300 is likely not enough especially if it is a low quality PSU. For your system I would recommend a 450 watt PSU from something like enermax or antec. Quality is really more important than the wattage rating when buying a PSU so do...
