Honestly I did search. Thx. Spent all my time trying to get CCC to work. I guess my Server 2008 really messes things up. yusux, I tried fixing both cores to 850MHz and it didn't crash my desktop but I can't OC the ram to 1GHz...

I just found that it seems my two cores are running at different frequencies for 2D. One is at 507/500 and the other at 750/500. I got the data from GPU-Z. Is that normal?

I disabled auto reboot and chose full memory dump in order to see if I can get any information. No luck. The system just goes blink and reboots itself. No trace in windows xp so far.

I wanna cry..... :'( Just spent $150+ on a new PSU 500W with 33A on 12V and zalman vf900-cu for my aiw x1900.... The problem still persists... If I watch TV eventually it will reboot all of a sudden... In Catalyst Ati admits the problem of rebooting when watching TV, but it's for x1800...

Hm.... interesting. They actually have small factor psu dedicated for video cards already. I was planning to get a regular PSU, say, 250W to 300W, I'm guessing the 12V power on those should be enough for my aiw x1900 right? I can't go CF anyways... BTW, does my problem look at a power shortage...

OIC. Thx first. I searched in Newegg.com and found quite a few mobo's that have agp and S939. As for that ASRock mobo, I heared the performance of that chipset is pretty bad in fact. That, stopped me from considering it. And I trust ASUS more than ASrock.....after all I used quite a few asus...

I wanted to get this mobo so i can keep my AIW x800 xt. But I heard that the agp/pci clock is not locked for this mobo, which makes it crappy for overclocking...... but OCing is my whole point :) Just wanna hear from some users or OCers of this mobo, does it OC fine with the venice core cpus...

I have MSI Neo2 too. It works fine for me. I got my 3200+ venice running at 2.5 GHz. Highest was 2.7, but I think 2.5 is definitely safe. BTW, what's that sideeffects modded bios? Does it really help OC and where can I get it?

My monitor is Apple cinema, which only let u change brightness.....And the lowest brightness on this monitor is still too bright for me. That's why i have to resort to catalyst. I never used software to change brightness and/or contrast before.

I googled "creative sb0220" and found out that it's actually live! 5.1. So u can just go straight to www.creative.com, and click "support." Pick the right region, language and all that, you should be able to download the driver.

I've used a Winchester 3000+. I overclocked it to 2550MHz ( 2500MHz ) at 1.6X. I think ur venice should be able to pass that. Usually try lower ur ram speed, let it run at 166:200 = ram:fsb, that's what i did.

1.55V 290 * 6 < 1.8 GHz and doesn't boot. What frequency is ur ram running at?
