You can get a GTX 260 216 for about the same money as a faster clocked GTX 260. The reviews of the GTX 260 216 say it's about 5-15% faster than the old GTX 260. But what about the superclocked GTX 260? Same performance?

I assume that once the 4870x2 gets released, the price of a 4870 will drop. Now if two 4870 will be cheaper than one 4870, will it be worth it to get two 4870 instead? I wonder which setup would be faster.

Thanks for the link. That is the first time I saw comparisons like that. Considering the price difference, between top X48 and P45 boards, it's a hard call for that extra 5-15%.

Slightly off topic but relevant. Say I was to run two 4870s or 4850s. How much of a performance boost will I see going with an X48?
