How can I bypass this Windows signon password without reinstalling windows...I tried resetting Bios...doesn't work....tried safe modeing in to change users and admin rights..can't do it the sign on password still comes up looking for a password? Any tricks in the trade?

This is what I am getting: Stop: c000021A [Fatal System Error] The windows login process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 {0x00000000 0x00000000} The system has been shut down When I try to go into the recovery console it says no hard drive located...

I will get the numbers and post them...as far as the booting to the windows CD I've tried that also with no success....which tells me I have a hardware issue chances are.

Well I sucessfully flashed the bios and the system still fails to get past the windows post it starts and then goes to a blue screen with a failed message and series of numbers X00000.... etc. maybe it's the power supply not delivering enough power to the motherboard as I read in another post...

Can someone explain the best process on how to update the bios of a system that won't boot into windows...possibly the bios is already damaged. XP Pro is the operating system Asus AV8 is the motherboard. Thanks

Were you getting the blue screen with some error #'s?

I can get my hands on a Asus A8R-MX/S to replace my AV8 deluxe that doesn't want to see my sata drive anymore....put in a new 200 Gig sata drive and the system is still giving me a blue screen and windows error message. Question is the Asus A*R-MX/S worth the $99 my supplier is asking for it?

What type of monitor are you using? Do you have another video card you can use in place of your current XFX? just for setup purposes?
