will i still be able to get my email if i delete msn messenger or do i have to replace messenger with zillion to be able to get email

i would like to get msn messenger off my computer but i am not sure what it actually does i use outlook express to read my emails and i never chat or web cam or any of that stuff i just email plain ordinary emails can i get this trillion program use it and then delete msn messenger ?

my virtual memory was set at 250 and 250 a bumped it up to 750 and it is much better thanks guys buy the way this system only needs to last untill march then i get to build my new system with a 1800.00 budget i am so looking foward to it that i am going to use a week of my vacation about then...

let me clarify it continues to run slow as far as opening or closing folders or transfering files untill i restart it i have tried letting it sit for 5 or 10 minutes to see if it would get better without restarting it+ but the only thing that helps is restarting
