Bingo!!! I'm using a cheapo Celeron 2.4a...so obviously the speed of the RAM wasn't critical, I just wanted to make sure I didn't get some bad memory (even though is was Kingston retail box). Thanks!!!

I have qualified Kingston DDR400 (KVR400) in the P4P800 , but when the machine boots up the BIOS reports DDR 266. In the bios setup, I can't find a 400 value? What's the problem. Perhaps a bios upgrade is needed?

Just did some tests on my system while rendering video to DVD. Using a P4 1.6 Northwood OC'd to 2.2ghz. System has a 80gig HD w/8mb cache and 512 mb of memory. I watched perfomance tab on Task Manager while rendering video. CPU went and stayed at 100% utilization through most of it. Available...

Sorry, I'm sure this info is posted somewhere, but I can't seem to track it down. When are other Intel processors coming that will be HT-enabled? I'd like to have the feature but no interest in paying the big $ for the 3.06. Also, when are the 800FSB processors coming?
