Thanks for the suggestion on the 6200, but according to gigabyte's website this card supports just about every widescreen format except 1680x1050. This is the exact problem I keep running into. That resolution seems to be hard to find on cheap cards.

Was looking at getting a 20" widescreen LCD but need to get a video card for my 2nd PC that can do 1680x1050 and MB can only do 4x AGP. I'd like to go as cheap as possible (no gaming) while still getting DVI, any suggestions for a 4x card? Or 8x cards that are backwards compatible?
