Make sure laptop isn't plugged in and disconnect the main battery.
Open up the memory compartment on the bottom.
Disconnect the BIOS battery. Here's a pic I think will work for you:

LAN Settings button
Automatically detect settings should be the only one checked (I'm assuming you're not using a proxy)
If that's already fine then try:
Start > Searchbox: cmd
ipconfig /flushdns
