I see absolutely no difference between my PVA Led panel and an older PVA panel with CCFL backlighting. High end monitors usually have either CCFL or RGB-LED for better color accuracy. Consumer models use white-LEDs which have dirtier colors.
Claiming that LED backlighting looks better is false...
Professionals will still go with CUDA cards. Because a lot of plugins are CUDA accelerated and will likely stay that way. Even if OpenCL gains more ground, there will still be more CUDA plugins than OpenCL. Like Kronos from Foundry. Neatvideo etc.

Except that the nm size isn't the "be all end all". This is being propagated because a smaller nm fabsize allows you to make 36megapixels for a fullframe sensor. Canon makes at the most, 22mp for that same sensor size so you don't NEED that smaller nm. Because the actual sensor gathering pixels...
