    AMD fury reviews lacking

[H] sucks. It looks like it did 10 years ago and they won't spend the money to provide a mobile version. Most of their content is a lot of click-bait BS cut and pasted from better sites, and they claim they're the only ones that know how to review hardware. The forum community is the only reason...

    Breaking Up With Apple

I can roll back to my iPhone 5. Will need to check with my Verizon rep about getting my upgrade eligibility status back if I decide to wait.

    Breaking Up With Apple

After a week with the LG G4, I think it's going back and I'm just going to go with an iPhone 6 or 6+. The G4 is my fourth Android phone and it's definitely the nicest of the bunch but I'm underwhelmed with it and I still find Android OS to be vaguely janky. I do love the widgets and some of the...

    Breaking Up With Apple

I have the LG G4 now. I'm sort of underwhelmed by it but to be fair, I haven't had time to get it setup properly (apps, appearance, etc.) since Wednesday. This weekend I'll get everything squared away. I have to admit, even though I was thoroughly bored with iOS, I do miss it's clean simplicity...

    Breaking Up With Apple

My employer is going to buy me whatever I decide on. Only catch is that I'm going to have to live with it for the next 2 years so I'm kinda sweating the decision. :-) I like the leather backs on the G4 but not super thrilled that I have to go with another back if I want wireless charging...

    Breaking Up With Apple

This is where I'll end up for now. I expect to buy either an LG G4 or S6 Edge (if I can make up my damned mind) this week and will stick with the iPad for the time being. Given that I only use my iPad for browsing, email, FB, and Kindle I will at least look at the Android and Kindle tablets over...

    Breaking Up With Apple

    1. No but I can AirPlay Google Music from my iPhone and iPad. 2. Primarily. Also use it for Netflix while I have my PS4 in my home office. Will be moving that back out this week for some Jameson Mortal Kombat X parties. Also like the Trailers app on the Apple TV. Not sure if there's anything...

    Breaking Up With Apple

Not necessarily a fanboy-style cut. I grew up on Apple II and Commodore computers before moving on to PCs for work and gaming. Like Linux, Android, and all that. I bought my iPad because I imagined I would really take advantage of their robust app library but that has never panned out in three...

    Breaking Up With Apple

I have a Chromecast in the bedroom and it works fine. We've had the Apple TV in the living room for a few years and are used to how it works. Looks like Nvidia announced a new Shield device that seems pretty good. Yay me! I'll probably go Android for phone in the next week and start looking...

    Breaking Up With Apple

Turn on device (Roku, Nexus Player, whatever), navigate to and launch Google Music. Play music from streaming service or from my CD rips that have been incorporate into my library via Google Music Manger. If there's an easier or another way to do this, I'm happy to try something new. :-)

    Google Music Player in particular.

    Breaking Up With Apple

How well do the Roku boxes mesh with Google's apps? Would I be better off with a Nexus Player? I use my tablet primarily for the Kindle app, browsing, email, and a little bit of Facebook. When I bought my iPad, I imagined I would enjoy it's robust library of apps and the few I've purchased...

    Breaking Up With Apple

My wife and I each have an iPhone 5 bought in 2012. I have an iPad 2 purchased new in 2011 that has become a chore to use with iOS 8. Third gen Apple TV is fine, I guess, but I'm just as happy with the Chromecast in the bedroom. My wife has a new iPad Mini that works pretty well, too. So aging...

    Breaking Up With Apple

Just curious is anyone has abandoned Apple for Android. And not just phones, but tablets, and devices like Apple TV as well. If so, what made you switch? Did you go back to Apple or are you still using Android devices? I'm considering ditching my Apple phone, tablet, and Apple TV and am...
