    Keyboard mouse in wrong connectors?

Ooops - Windows should stop with a 'Mouse not found error' Errr.... wot's an NF-wotsit server? Is this a (Li)Unixy type thing? If so - knowing how primitive the Penguin types like to be, it may look on the mouse as a luxury and not a necessity as Windows does.

    Keyboard mouse in wrong connectors?

Apols for sarcasm ;-) Yeh you can quite happily swap the PS2 ports and your BIOS will see the Kboard and let it go on. Windows will use it too, I just assume you're not a big mouse user cos Windows shouldn't see it. HTH

What are some symptoms of a faulty AGP slot?

    1. This is possible, but why would it be happening/how do I fix it? 2. Nope 3. Nope 4. Nope 5. Nope 6. Nope 7. Nope 8. Uhh...? The hot pc is running a 1.33tbird. The cool PC is running a 1.2duron. What is the athlon imcompatibility problem? I remember there being compatibility problems back in...

my motherboards left channel stoped working

You haven't touched anything? OK ;) I believe you, so what exactly did you, or somebody else, not do just prior to this occuring? Have you checked the cat hasn't tugged the 3.5mm jack out slightly?

    Keyboard mouse in wrong connectors?

Not normal at all. Is this just a ruse cos yer boss switched em to prove you did nothing and your like claiming they worked fine for several days I've never know a BIOS that would tolerate it, and swapping whilst on can damage yer PC.... as well of course as not work...

    Possible Dead AGP SLOT?

You say it gets the beep on boot, like 8 beeps to indicate AGP problem on some BIOS's? Or just 1 - if so the BIOS seems to think the cards OK and the card has succesfully checked itself out and handed POST control back to the BIOS

What are some symptoms of a faulty AGP slot?

Apols PC keeps bugging out. It seems I misunderstood your Post :-( Lets assume the AGP is OK and see what differences between the 2 PC's may cause this. 1.AGP Card is getting higher Voltage on Hot PC 2.AGP bus is overclocked on Hot PC or otherwise tweaked 3.AGP multiplier is higher on Hot PC...

    FIXED

OK just seen the pop/click bit Doh! Sounds like an IRQ problem. Turn off PC Pull the Scard and relocate in another slot Repeat until IRQ is allocated, or at least not shared with something heavy like the AGP

    FIXED

You are connecting into the correct outputs aren't you? First your Scard won't detect your speakers, it rather hopes you have them plugged in correctly (IIRC the Bass goes on the digital jack?) anyway, It's up to you to tell the soundcard what outputs to send the sounds to and if they are...

Your just damned determined to melt something aren't ya :-) Google round the Overclockers sites to get hard facts through printed reviews would be best.

    New System: Odd video problems

You are clocking down your PCI bus as you clock up your FSB I hope as this will bug most AGP cards. Be carefull when increasing Volts on electronics - You can permanently damage them or weirdly, make them become dependant on a higher V. Don't ask me how, I just know it can happen. Dunno about...
