But what are the odds of two people with the same mb/ram setup getting the same problems, and another person with the same ram, different motherboard having the same issues. I am going to venture out and pick up another MB/power supply and another type of ram and run some tests this weekend...

I tried this and no go, i think i may just have to rma a bunch of stuff and try my luck again because I can't identify the problem specifically.

I have it sitting on top of the MB box at the moment. I'm trying to get more variations of beeps, but mainly just get the beeps when I dont have ram installed. When the ram is in, it just reboots every 3 seconds. I'll try to clear the CMOS with ram and cpu plugged in.

Quick update, I've tried the memory in white/blue slots, ive tried each piece singularly in every slot, its all the same results. When the ram is in, no post, no beeps, just powers up for about 3 seconds, then resets in an infinite loop. When memory is out, its a bunch of short quick...

I really appreciate the reply, I should have put more detail into my post. The machine wont even post for me to get into the bios. I've tried clearing the bios settings, that did nothing. I think that it may be some defective memory, when the ram is in, the system powers up for 3 seconds...
