You could try Everest as alternate to MBM and Speedfan. Reseating & cleaning of HS/F should be 1st thing done especially since the HS does not feel hot like Bob said, A restarting of the computer is normally a sign of heat issue especially if not OCing. Keep us up to date on your progress. Also...

Also check for dust buildup in HS/F can increase temps dramatically, and make sure all fans working properly. If not done so already.

So original DDR will not work in AM2?

It's sounds funny but it can happen, most Mobos have overheat protection but they vary on when they kick in. I would be sure my HS/F are seated properly first! 93c is that from the bios? Have you check in windows the temp with a HW monitoring tool...Mother Monitor etc...

I have been waiting until the 939 prices have come down and now they have but my new question is to go with 939 or AM2. @ Mwave I can get a AM2 3500 combo for roughly same price as S939 setup, what should I do? Currently running a Athlon xp Barton 2500.

Anyway to test cpu's ram in different setup? Sounds like a cpu or bad bios issue if board powers up but no post beep etc....

Did you clear Cmos prior to putting 800 back in? I would check that everything is seated correctly, check that ram has'nt been unseated sometimes we bang thiings around without our knowledge :)
