Yeah I've tried plugging only one of the four drives and I get the same problem. Also, I was using all these drives before I fried my mobo and had to replace it so it's been enough power in the past. It's also a 500w PSU which should be enough (i think).

- Borrowing a friends sound card thats the exact same model as mine and using it

Well I have tested other cards in the slot since the incident and they work just fine so it can't be the slot. Also, the onboard audio is set to Auto so I believe it should have worked if it was going to.

Its more fun (in my opition) with the sound off. I remember the first time i plaid it was late late at night and the sound of the rat dieing scared the crap out of me :D
You can get suprisingly close to it without getting killed. The collision detection is just for your small mouth and not the whole body so only the mouth has to avoid it.
