2 lan's on one machine is called "dual hom'ing" and it's when a pc/server/etc acts like a router connecting two (or more) different subnets. I don't think this is what you mean :)
What i think you mean is "alternate configuration" XP has this option (in your network adapter's properties...
note, if you need 802.11G and/or WPA the linksys one works fine ('admin' sw is pc only, but the device does support appletalk, too, even tho it's not advertised as such)
I've got a Dell raid 5 file server in a small server closet along with a IBM web/email server. With the new dual xeon terminal server, it's getting pretty warm in there.
