Bupkus Try closing only the L1 bridges. Lower multiplier @fsb100, save this in bios, then change to fsb133. Worked for me. I also got the impression, reading some articles on Anandtech and Tom's Hardware, that in order to change the multiplier on L6, you need to make corresponding changes on L3...

K7T Turbo... the computer from hell

Try uninstalling the Via IRQ driver. What you describe right there, has happened to every Via board I've installed from the Socket7 days 'til now whenever I used this piece-of-crap driver. Don't know what it's supposed to fix, but it doesn't. Only messes up your install. Loose it!

mto81: I have to say I'm really happy with this board. After bugging you people bout how to flash this 1.6 bios for way too long, it's running just fine. Stable as a rock, no lock-ups or BSOD's whatsoever. And it's quite a lot cheaper than the Asus or Abit boards, which isn't insignificant to...

FredC Wasn't trying to bug you either. May have sounded a little too straightforward, didn't mean to. Compuwiz1 You mean to say you still can't lower the multiplier on 1Ghz+ T'birds? Did you lower the multiplier at 100fsb, then reboot, shut down and set fsb133? My 900 is humming along at...

MSI K7T Turbo overclockers bios posted

FredC and Hydrobum: as you could have read in my initial post, I have a Turbo and wanted to know if people got the BIOS working on it. Works on my Turbo now. Alright? mto81: Boot with fsb100, set your multiplier to 7.5 or lower in BIOS Then shut down, set fsb to 133 (i.e. remove the connector...

You mean: first flash 1.4, then 1.6? Tried that, doesn't work :( I think (hope) MSI is working on a Turbo OC Bios, but forgot the finishing touches (i.e. put in the correct mobo identification code)

I installed my new 4 in 1 drivers but when i boot the screen gets lines all in it

Try uninstalling the IRQ router - always messes things up on every system I've built so far... If that doesn't work, fiddle around with the other drivers (AGP 'normal' instead of 'turbo', uninstall INF thingy, etc.) Hope it works.

Must be the 4way memory interleave thingy that's causing the performance increase on your board, SpongeBob. So it looks like this is a Pro2A BIOS. Did it also increase your voltage and multiplier options? Cause then I can't wait til the REAL Turbo BIOS gets released. Should give a pretty good...

Figured that one out myself too, but then why does MSI link to them from their Turbo BIOS page??? Pretty stupid mistake, I guess...

You're right. I missed the 'add ratio range below CPU normal ratio' bit, cause they've already released two overclockers bioses! Tried the latest one (v1.6) and it didn't work, though :( Flash-program mentioned "BIOS Lock String doesn't match your system" and then quit. I'll try v1.4...

MSI K7T Turbo overclockers bios posted

MSI have posted an overclockers bios on their website: http://www.msi.com.tw/support/bios/mainboard/6xxx/k7tpro2a/w6330v10b16.exe It mentions 4way interleave enabled and higher voltagemods, I'm kinda hoping (dreaming? :) ) it will fix the multiplier problem. I'll flash it into my board as soon...
