Well I fixed my problem. I repaired my windows install which made my postgres stop working. So I reinstalled that and now everything works great. I have a feeling it was postgres.
My cpu is at 63c running at 100% load for a good hour now. I'm running orthos on it and so far so good. Too soon to tell for sure, but I think it is a software issue. I might reinstall windows if it doesn't find anything tonight.

I have a xp 2500 with a gig of ram, and I've tried using tight vnc on my computer, but it lags too much when I'm running a server. It uses 100% of my cpu. It works fine when I view someone else's computer. Is there some other kind of software that will work on my computer?

They usually have cheap shipping already, but I still think this is pretty warm. I hate going into walmart just because I'm usually in line for about 20 minutes during the day. I prefer meijer but their online store is horrendous to nonexistent.
