haha just people's ignorance that's all. besides, what "history" are you talking about? do you have any, you know, proof?

Wimotes and Nunchucks on eBay from Hong Kong: are these genuine?

lol just because they're from hong kong doesn't mean they're fake or even could be fake. you know that they do sell REAL accessories there. i know cause i stay there for two months every year. i guess if they were from the us and didn't say genuine you'd have no problem buying them. everything...

    Confused about graphic cards

I wouldn't really worry too much about the clock speeds and stuff when you're comparing cards - they don't mean much (to me anyways). All you need to know is that the 9800GX2>8800GTS>8800GT. I'd wait for the new cards if I were you though.

Looking for a passive CPU cooler.

For 120mm fans you should definitely check out the Noctua NF-P12-1300. They're relatively expensive but they can move a lot of air while still remaining, "whisper quiet."

    **Who Really Knows Laptops?**

If you live in the US and are looking for a laptop to do some light gaming then you should definitely consider this laptop. It has an 8800M GTS for roughly $1400; not really much else to say. http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668033.php EDIT: Just saw your budget, never mind.

Best Video card for a 24" monitor?

If you are going to wait for one of the new cards from ATI I don't think you'll need Crossfire as long as you get a high model. (4870)

    Which one?

Yeah, I've heard the DS3L is an amazing overclocker for the price and I haven't heard much about the MSI board or any MSI boards for that matter; not since the 965 Platinum or whatever. Between the two I'd definitely go for the DS3L as it's a proven overclocker. I have the DS3R which isn't much...

Best Video card for a 24" monitor?

How much are you willing to spend? A buddy of mine has a 9800GTX with an E8400 and 4GB of RAM and it plays COD4 and UT3 at maximum settings on a 24" LCD monitor. However, I'd wait for the 48xx series and Nvidia's GT200 or whatever because apparently it's a whole architectural refresh (I may be...

    Which one?

Well, what will you use this budget PC for? We need some background information if anyone can help you. I have a budget build in mind that'll draw you back $450 and it would be good for everyday use with a bit of light gaming. However, I don't know if it'll fit what you're looking for.

    Arctic Cooling Freezer

First of all you can't have the Freezer 7 Pro because it's only LGA 775 so you'd have to go with the Freezer 64 Pro. It's different in ways I don't know and, just from my experience, I haven't heard as good comments as I have with the Freezer 7 Pro. If I were you I'd go for a Thermalright Ultima...

    NZXT Rogue

Well, can it? Oh, and I'm also interested in mATX boards. I've never thought of building a small computer before and I think I'm going to try it. What are some of the best mATX motherboards?

    COD4 Profile

Well, I'm going to reformat soon but I don't want to lose my COD4 profile which would make me level all over again. Is there some file I can copy to a USB drive so I can keep it?

Looking to build my second PC

    1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing. Gaming, Music, Movies, Internet. 2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread Under $1100 CAD including shipping and taxes. 3. What country YOU...

    help me pick a 9600GT!

Well it looks like the MSI 9600GT has a double-slot cooler and it has 1GB of memory opposed to EVGA's single-slot cooler and 512MB of memory. Those are pretty much the two biggest differences that I can see. MSI 9600GT will give you better performance but it's going to be more expensive.
