    Ubiquiti Network Upgrade

Just finished installing the Cloud Key, Security Device, 16 port PoE switch and a pair of APs. Everything works fantastically. Only configuration necessary was turning on the 24v passive PoE, as the AP Lites don't use the new protocol. Thanks for all the help!

    Ubiquiti Network Upgrade

Thanks for all the tips. I just pulled the trigger on a matching Ap-AC Lite, which supports the fast roaming. Reading the documentation, it doesn't mention a specific controller requirement, only that they're always on. Is the preferred controller their Ubiquiti Unifi Security Gateway (USG) or...

    Ubiquiti Network Upgrade

@sdifox, very interesting. Do you happen to have any links to the documentation for that system? I'm very interested.

    Ubiquiti Network Upgrade

@sdifox, could you give me a little more information about how that would work?

    Ubiquiti Network Upgrade

@razel, exactly, thank for the vote of confidence. The wired devices are crushing it, it's the wireless devices, especially when moving from one end to the other, that really get bad quality. Almost like the other AP doesn't pick them up.

    Ubiquiti Network Upgrade

Hey guys, I was hoping someone could help me assess my SMB network that I have at my office. The office itself is long and skinny, about 70' long, 25' wide. The server cabinet is at one end of the structure and there is a cable run to the opposite side. Currently, I have a mix of routers, APs...

    HP Spectre 13.3 (2016) USB-C Adapter

Such bullshit. HP just informed me that their replacement AC adapters will not be available until 9/20. Can't get a docking station to work either.

    HP Spectre 13.3 (2016) USB-C Adapter

Hey friends, I was wondering if anyone had successfully used ANY USB-C adapter to power the new 2016 HP Spectre 13.3 laptop? I have tried: Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45 45W Laptop Adapter dodocool USB C Charger, 30W USB Type-C MINIX NEO C, USB-C Multiport Adapter with HDMI (USB hub works...

    ATI FirePro 2460 + 3x DVI Monitors

Hey guys, I have three Dell 2007WFP monitors. Currently, I'm driving them with an AMD Radeon HD 5450 and the onboard Intel HD3000. Photoshop CS6 is bitching about having mis-matched video cards, blah blah blah. I'd like to bump my performance up a little and drive the monitors with a...

    Haswell/Iris Pro and Three Monitors

@Lonyo, That's exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks for the link, seems like the DP Hub is the way to go. Could even use my old monitors!

    Haswell/Iris Pro and Three Monitors

I'm also interested from a laptop perspective. If it has an eDisplayPort, could I drive three monitors off a single port that way? My laptop is ancient and my workstation is getting up there. It would be great if I could just combine the two. From a performance perspective, I think the modern...

Iris Pro 5200 and Three Monitors

Hey guys, I just read about the new Vizio laptop coming out with the fresh i7 and Iris Pro 5200 graphics. I was wondering if it would be possible to drive three external monitors using this machine. I don't do any gaming, it would strictly be for productivity work. I'm a software engineer...

    Haswell/Iris Pro and Three Monitors

Looking into everyone's crystal ball, do you see a single eDP port for ITX form factors?

    Haswell/Iris Pro and Three Monitors

That is very, very cool. 3840x2160... I mean, I'm currently running at 1680x1050! Is eDisplayPort 1.2 the specification that allows you to daisy chain the monitors together, or is that Thunderbolt only?
