Well, I did swap out to a old video card, took out the sound card, unplugged my extra fans, dvd-rom and floppy drive. So I was basicly running the mobo, cpu, hdd and old video card. I was using a tweak proggy that came with my new mobo, and when I slowly upped the FSB i got to about 127...

Hmm, I guess that seems to be the norm. I also tried swapping to a smaller yet higher RPM fan, no go either. Any other thoughts?

just a note: I also had boot up problems in my old system, where it would just hang with no video when powering up. assumed it was the mobo so i bought a new one. In both cases the system was stable once in windows. Only during boot ups i had problems.

So, I added a 430w Works PS assuming that was my boot up problem to find out that my system still fails to sucessfully boot. The hdd lights, cd rom, and fans always start up, but when it doesnt boot, I get no video and beeping. Any ideas?
