yup as of right now the nforce2 is the best chipset for a AMD cpu. You can also try the famous Asus and Epox nforce2 motherboards. And also try newegg.com

is a side fan really needed? My case doesnt have good ventalation, it has 1 80mm intake and a 60mm exhaust fan. But my case temp is at 20c and the cpu is at 41c idle. Cpu used to be at 38c but my globalwin heatsink clip broke so now im using a volcano 6cu.
