i'd like to find out if this is a fact, and if manufacturers actually lie about colors, ie. Viewsonic claims that 912b is 6+2 bits.

i didn't pick it up because i realized that Sony SDM-HS94P is everything this one is and more...

Sony SDM-HS94P has to be the single best choice for a gaming rig for the next several months if you're into 19'' TFT. The European version however is quite a lot better: 170 viewing angle instead of 160, 16.7mil colors instead of 16.2mil. Can't wait to have it on my hands... =)

i'll be picking up my new Benq 937s tomorrow. could an owner post a subjective rundown here? first person shooter performance, colors, brightness etc. are all welcome; all the stuff that's still nonexistent on review sites.

i'm planning to buy a 1280x1024 TFT panel (16ms etc.) but wonder what will happen with my 1024x768-only games (there are loads of them from the 2001-03 era). any general comments from LCD'ers if they will function/being scaled down/suck?

hey there; i know this is a newbie thing to ask, but could someone post a quick rundown on the differences between these two Viewsonic TFT models (outside the obvious, ie. viewable size)?
