I have a Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3 board. Can't seem to update the bios using the windows bios update program @Bios. I don't have a floppy drive so can't update using QBios.
I tried updating using download or via downloaded file but the program hangs. I have been having problems with the...
Thanks Everyone for your tips. Don't know which one actually fixed it but I pulled out the RAM and made sure to put it back in correct as well as pulled out the HSF and reinstalled and that seems to have fixed it. Also downloaded the chipset update from Intel (Had one dated in April). Maybe the...
No, It wasn't overclocked. Plenty fast without it. :)
I went to the Intel site and downloaded the latest chipset drivers. Tried to rerun the windows experience again and the system just turned off.Thank you everyone. Will try!
I have a SB 2500K with 8 gig Win 7 64bit with the (Gigabyte) P67A-UD3-B3 Motherboard. This MB is the replacement I just got from NewEgg to replace the P67A-UD3 original MB which in essence the same MB with the sata3.0 fix.. Once I replaced the MB, the system is running a lot slower. Games are...
Yes. I have Win 7. I do have a self powered USB Hub (USB3 one and a USB 2 one) as well as other devices connected direct (like Mouse, keyboard) to the MB. I will try it and see.
Yes. It was an ABit. This sucks if I have to do it like this everytime. I can get a full refund due to the SB problem. Maybe I should get a non Gigabyte if this is a case and there is no fix in sight.
Very odd and I am hoping someone has an answer. I have alot of USB devices connected to my computer (7 USB external drives as well as other devices like scanner, mouse, keyboard...etc). My old computer with a 500 PSU never had a problem but my new computer with a 520 PSU (Antec Neo 80+) keeps on...
That's what I am going to do. I only have 2 6 GB sata ports. So I will put my ssd boot drive and a second HD into the 6GB port and put DVD into the 3 GB port since I wont be using the DVD very much. This should take me until they start cranking out the replacement boards.
Thanks. Then it looks like we can use our SB setup until the fix is ready. We would be down for about a week at the longest while waiting for the replacement to come.
I wonder if my two 6gb SATA port is backward compatible...hmmm.
Yup. I have a Gigabyte MB with 2500K. They should step up. They are pretty vague on if it will screw up the SATA devices though. They mention degradation and functionality and that might just be the chipset wont work well with the devices after certain period of time. I have a nice SSD drive I...
Yes, the 9800 GT for now until hopefully the 560 comes out. I heard IGP isn't very powerful so I wouldn't use it anyway. Can't wait to put it together! Thank you for your help! :)
