whats the difference between 128 bit and 256 bit?

see when i plug in my usb 2.0 external drive it says that a high speed usb device is plugged into an non-high speed usb port. why is this?

i can't find the proper jumper settings for my A7V KT133 board for my processor. The processor is rated 1.33ghz but the manual for my board lists settings for up to 1.0. i scoured asus website and i cant find the updated settings.
I have an A7V KT133 mother board and just picked a Athlon TBird 1.33 266 SOCKET-A (266Mhz FSB). i had trouble getting xp to start and when i finally did it still recognizes it as my Thunderbird 750. i thought this processor was compatible? someone help me please
